Inspite of the huge financial investment made by the Nigerian government in the oil and gas industry of the economy, it has not resulted in significant benefits for most Nigerians. The local content (LC) in the industry is still very low as over 60% of the major activities, Nigeria has been very active in the exploitation and exploration of oil and gas. It has been the major source of revenue which has contributed over 90% on yearly basis.
